We Tested 10 AI Writing Tools: Here Are the Only 3 You Need
We ran the same prompts through 10 AI writers to see which one produces the most human-like content.
The Experiment
We took 10 popular AI writers (Jasper, Copy.ai, Writesonic, etc.) and gave them the exact same prompt: "Write a 500-word blog post about the benefits of remote work, in a conversational tone." We then ran the results through AI detectors and human review panels.
The Results
Most tools produced generic, fluff-filled content. However, three tools stood out by actually sounding human:
1. Jasper AI
Jasper remains top-tier for enterprise marketing. Its ability to learn your brand voice and apply it consistently across campaigns is unmatched. However, it is expensive.
2. Claude (Anthropic)
Though not a dedicated writing UI, Claude produced the most natural-sounding text. It avoided common AI words like "delve," "tapestry," and "bustling."
3. Copy.ai
Copy.ai won for short-form copy. Its workflow templates for Instagram captions and Facebook ads generated the highest converting copy in our A/B tests.
